Stoop Storytelling Series in partnership with the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Agora Institute present “Democracy in Our Lives”
Democracy is shaped not only by institutions and elections, but also by the experiences people carry, the communities they build, and the stories they choose to share.
Join the SNF Agora Institute and The Stoop for an evening of true, personal stories exploring democracy, civic life, belonging, participation, and the ways people find—and use—their voices. Through stories drawn from lived experience, the program will consider how public life is experienced at the personal level and how listening across differences can deepen understanding and connection.
