The Stoop Storytelling Series will present “Keepers of Culture: Stories about people who inspire and enlighten” on Saturday, September 21st and Sunday, September 22nd at the Maryland Folk Festival in downtown Salisbury, Maryland.
Got a tale to tell? Here’s how it works!
1. For this show, we’re seeking individuals to share a 7-minute true, personal tale about about anything connected to culture keeping – artists, musicians, dancers, chefs, artisans, writers, oral historians, etc.
2. Well select five storytellers to share their tale in-person on either 9/21 or 9/22! These folks will receive support in shaping their story during a coaching session with The Stoop!
3. Hotel accommodations are provided for all booked storytellers!
4. Stories will be recorded and archived on The Stoop website and possibly played on The Stoop podcast and WYPR.
