The Stoop Storytelling Series will present “Keepers of Culture: Stories about people who inspire and enlighten” on Saturday, September 21st and Sunday, September 22nd at the Maryland Folk Festival in downtown Salisbury, Maryland.
Got a tale to tell? Here’s how it works!
1. For this show, we’re seeking individuals to share a 7-minute true, personal tale about about anything connected to culture keeping – artists, musicians, dancers, chefs, artisans, writers, oral historians, etc.
2. We’ll select five storytellers to share their tale in-person on either 9/21 or 9/22! These folks will receive support in shaping their story during a coaching session with The Stoop!
3. Hotel accommodations are provided for all booked storytellers!
4. Stories will be recorded and archived on The Stoop website — and possibly played on The Stoop podcast and WYPR.
